What is the new air outlet?

2023-04-23

The new air outlet is a return air outlet.

Because the air conditioning unit is sent indoors through indoor return air, cooled by the coil in the unit, there will be one air outlet and one return air outlet. From the perspective of the unit itself, the air outlet is generally horizontal on the side, with visible fins. The return air outlet is generally at the bottom, with visible fans and filter screens. From the installation and decoration of the air outlet, it can be seen that most of the air outlets use square or circular diffusers, as well as horizontal and vertical fence diffusers. The return air outlet is usually a single layer of fence louvers. There can be one or multiple air outlets, while there is only one return air outlet.

1. In air-conditioned rooms, if there is no fresh air supply, the indoor air will be dirty and lack oxygen, so most central air conditioning systems will be equipped with fresh air systems.
2. The fresh air system does not have a return air outlet, only an exhaust outlet is possible, so a separate fresh air supply outlet will be installed. The return air outlets are generally not installed together, and the indoor air will be dirty and lacking oxygen. Therefore, most central air conditioning systems will have a fresh air system because the air needs to be recycled. The fresh air can be an independent system, and the fresh air system will not have a return air outlet.
3. Just like a household air conditioner. Generally, an independent fresh air system, air conditioning supply, and smoke exhaust vents are required to be installed on the fire exhaust system.
4. Fresh air can be an independent system or can be combined with an air conditioning system for operation. Generally, independent fresh air systems require separate installation of fresh air supply outlets.
5. The return air outlet is only available on the air conditioning system, just like a household air conditioner, because the air needs to be circulated.
6. Smoke exhaust vents are mandatory vents installed on fire exhaust systems. They are generally not installed together with new vents, air conditioning supply vents, and return vents.
